Connection modes
Choose the mode based on the device owner and the required level of control. Full management and a mobile app connection provide different capabilities.
| Mode | Description in the wizard |
|---|---|
| COBO | Corporate Android device, full MDM control; organization ownership without a user is available |
| COPE | Corporate Android device with a work profile |
| BYOD | Mobile app connection on a personal Android device |
| iOS | Mobile app connection on iPhone/iPad |
Do not treat a mobile app connection as proof that a system management profile is installed. For a specific restriction, check the platform and mode in the device card.
