DPC capabilities and limitations

The Aitera DPC executes Aitera commands and reports the information supported by the agent. The set of available management features depends on the APK version, ownership mode, Android permissions and connection state. Check the release and client events before considering a command applied.

• In the current interface, location collection is available for COBO with the Aitera DPC; the frequency is limited to no more often than once every 15 minutes. Storage conditions are set separately in the workspace settings.
• Geofence rules in the current interface apply to the Aitera DPC; do not assume they work for Google AMAPI, iOS or the personal mobile client.
• The “Block” command of the Aitera DPC locks the screen. It does not enable Lost Mode and is not a command for setting a PIN.
• DPC service signals arrive through the management channel. They are not a user Push notification to the mobile app.
• Do not infer support for devices without Google Mobile Services from the mere existence of the Aitera APK. Compatibility depends on the model, Android, build and required services; check on the specific device.
